Old Dominion Warehousing & Distribution, Inc. has been serving the Commonwealth for over 40 years, specializing in roll paper, palletized product, raw materials, slip sheet capabilities, and drive in racking for over 300 pallets. Conveniently located minutes from interstate 95, we operate over 500,000 square feet of fully sprinklered warehouse in multiple locations.

Our Story
Old Dominion Warehousing & Distribution has been a family-owned fixture in the Richmond community since 1980, when founder Bob Carter opened his doors with a simple goal: take care of customers the right way.
Two years later, that commitment led to the creation of Expressway, an in-house trucking carrier built to make Old Dominion a true one-stop shop for storage and delivery. In 2001, we launched Expressway Pallets, a recycling program that gives lightly-used, food-grade pallets a second life instead of a trip to the landfill. Soon after came Express Freight Systems, our brokerage arm for loads beyond Expressway’s own reach — backed by a guarantee that if a broker can’t find a carrier, Expressway will step in and get the freight there.
Each of these companies can stand on its own, but together they work as one connected operation, built to solve problems for our customers at every step.
